commercial hives have a screen to keep the queen out of the comb that will be sold, so that she only lays eggs in the brood hive, the bottom set of combs, so no eggs means no baby bees in honey comb that you would buy.

No, it won't, less the beekeeper is really really lazy- brood can be seen as a significantly darker cell in the comb which is higher and raised up from the other comb. Generally, it makes the comb not that pretty and so you'd have to be pretty foolish to try to sell comb with brood in it.
comb production is done in different kinds of containers (rounds, balsa boxes and such) and usually the beekeeper puts a queen excluder in.
Long story short, go ahead and enjoy, if you're a vegetarian and not a strict vegan (for whom the anmal product nature of the honey is also offensive).

No never.
For one. There is only a very limited amount of larvae produced and they are in a very distinct part of the hive and it does not even look like honeycomb.
A farmer that has these bee production combs will be very careful not to destroy them as they are his livelihood.
It would be like a smith selling horseshoes and throwing in his tools for free. Would never happen.

Bees don't acquire honey - they acquire nector from vegetation. Nector isn't very sticky - it's frequently water. The bee sucks up the nector with its tongue and flys again to the hive wherein it places the nector into the pre-shaped wax cellphone within the honeycomb. This might be like a human sipping a soda after which spitting it out - you particularly do not get sticky except you occurred to spit within the wind! The honeycomb is manufactured from "bees wax" that is secreted from the glands of the more youthful bees nonetheless within the hive. Even if a bee wherein to enter the wax cellphone, at that factor the nector isn't very sticky, however the bee might ought to pass out of its manner to enter a cellphone, they stroll at the cellphone partitions, no longer within the cells. After garage within the cellphone, the bees within the hive use their wings to fan the nector and create warmness. This reasons the water to evaporate and the honey to sort. Once the honey is on the correct consistancy the bees cap the cellphone with wax to retailer it. At that factor they are able to stroll over the cellphone and no longer get sticky. The procedure is the equal as while folks make maple syrup - the tree sap isn't very sticky, however the ensuing maple syup may be very sticky - so we positioned it in a jar - on account that we are not making honey combs! When the bees want the honey later, they chunk off the wax cap and suck the honey again up with their tongues, it most effective takes a couple of mins for a couple of bees to drain the cells fully.
