It is a "personal" shower but I don't know her that well and do NOT want to buy her underwear, bras or lingerie! So any other ideas will help. It is both of their second marriages and both are in their early 40's.

Try thinking of the bride, and her style/taste; if you know her so little that even that takes work, then a gift certificate for a major department store will also do!; to make it extra fun, package the gift in girly-hues and add glamour touches to it, not to mention a fantastic greeting card, and you're set to go!.

If they aren't a silver or crystal picture frame, a set of crystal candlestick holders, a nice crystal or glass vase, or a certificate to a cooking class (or something they can do together). If you have a Home Goods store close to you finding crystal is easy. Or you can just get a gift certificate to Lowe's or Home Depot or a department store.
