Find out if you can how many pounds of thrust it has. 1 pound of thrust is = to 2 horsepower.

Just to clarify, (not trying to be a jerk for details tho!) when discussing jet engines, power is described in terms of "pounds of thrust". FYI, the throttle is then referred to as a "thrust control lever" in most of the airlines I'm familiar with. Back to engine power output, how about the General Electric GE-90 that produces 115,000 pounds of thrust! Yeeee-hawww!

One engine produces roughly 30,000 HP. Multiply it by 4 and it comes to 120,000 HP at the time of take-off with full thrust.
