matress in the basement with alot of bending and squeezing boy it was a real tight fit:)
My question is how do I set up a double bed in my basement if the boxspring would not fit any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)

best solution if you did not try the doors taking them off is put another bed on the bottom and no need for box spring. also if you want higher take some wood boards make a square ( now in the basement) nail them then put cross boards to hold the mattresses and you have yourself a place to sleep. gl

We had to saw our boxspring in half to get it down the stairs. I know that kind of sucks but you can't tell once it's on the bed with the mattress on top.

an outside door. ive never had a problem moving them downstairs.
