Either one would require a lot of changes in my sons behaviors - as he thinks girls are pretty hot stuff at 17, and he is really upset with the terrorist - but if he was going to throw old mom here for a lulu - I would say becoming gay would be the real shocker, not that being a terrorist would please me more - but we do live in an area that would more likely draw attention to terrorist activity than to homosexuality - rural, south-should-have-won, mentality is still pretty heavy around here - he's not really into it - but peer pressure can get to anyone if they're under its influence long enough. So far, he hasn't chosen friends of either category.
I played - I'm not offended - I'm very much a Christian mom and have laid a solid foundation upon which he may choose.

My brother is gay and he is awesome. So, I am cool with a gay kid. But, it would be kind of neat to say my kid is a terrorist that blew up George Bush or something. I would be proud of that. Even better, if he blew up a bunch of christian churches full of the fundamentalists and molesting priests that would be awesome.

Neither, but both of them are forgivable under Jesus' ultimate sacrifice, but only if the person repents before death and prays to God through Jesus' name, and it will be forgiven.
Both things are deserving of death in the Bible, but it is easier to give up being a terrorist than being gay.
I wouldn't want either one of them in my family. Both lifestyles are not Christ-like.
