define private function please. if your saying a party w/ beer being served or wine. your better off hiring security officers. most depts wont allow there officers to work party's if beer is being served. now if your asking about say an auction and proceeds going to Jerry's kids or something like that. wouldn't cost you much or anything.

each dept rates and rules vary. your looking from $25-100 an hr per officer. best thing to do is call them. if the fee is to high call security company's and ask for a price quote.

Most departments have a set rate for hiring off duty officers. You will need to contact the department that has jurisdiction in your area and tell them that you are in need of an off duty officer for a special detail and what you want them there for. They should tell you the specific person you need to talk to and their rates.

Most cities require you to go to the local police station and inform the desk sergeant what you need a n off duty cop for. Tell the sergeant how much you're willing to pay ,but most likely they will tell you the rates. The time, place and date. They will announce it to the other officers and see who volunteers.

Go up to an on-duty cop and tell him that you want to hire him when he gets off work.

until eventually she is committing unlawful acts or is deemed mentally risky and desires to be dedicated, there is no longer a lot which will be legally finished. A police officer won't be able to order her to leave someone or end being depressed. A police officer may manage to grant advice on the priority once he/she knows what is going on. per chance the man desires help from the authorities. notwithstanding, it really is extremely demanding to call until eventually she crosses the line and tries to damage herself or others.

well call some of the guys at your local police department and ask them they might do it for the right price. you could also try talking to the chief and ask him to recommend a couple of guys that he thinks would be good for the job.

I would recommend contacting your local sherrifs dept. They usually have a rotation of deputies who are willing to do this type of thing.

Varies from place to place, but you can usually just call the municipal police dept. non-emergency number and inquire.
