cats are creatures of habit you will find that they will go most of the time in the same place, but it seems that either you , or possible your mate or roommate should not close the door that the litter box is in. If you were locked outside your house and had to go you would find an Evergreen tree yourself. Any Port in a storm!. But on the other hand ,if he or she has a clear Path ,unhindered and still chose's to bless the carpet get a spray bottle and get some old time moth balls that grandma used to use in the ceder chest to protect fine garments from moths allow the mothballs to breakdown in the spraybottle {4or 5 balls} it doesn't have to be very strong .! Spray a quick sprits where the cat has been going in front of the door and I promise you that will be the end of that , plus the house will smell fresh. It has worked great for me to stop others cats from useing my outside flower pots a littler boxes

This may sound mean to do to the cat but the vets suggests this. Gently rub his nose in the cat litter a few times a day. Bring him to the cat litter and just position him in th box as if he were really going, he should get the hang of it and start using it. And make sure he has acces to his litter box at all times.

The cat needs to have access to a litter tray in the room he is in, and that should stop it. If the cat is being left in an area with no access to a litter tray, he'll go where ever he can. Just give him access to the tray and he should stop.

I tamed a set of feral kittens, who by no skill said muddle. They immediately knew what it become. So i do not imagine you need to have a lot of a difficulty with the kitten. before each little thing, get 2 muddle bins. that's barely for convenience, as you've 2 cats. now and again they are going to use one field for one pastime, and the different field for the different pastime. yet there is an more advantageous component you may do. in a unmarried field, use a small quantity of muddle jumbled in with some sand. The older cat would note of the sand as something favourite. Then slowly shrink the quantity of sand till it really is all muddle. you may want to also upload some dirt (potting soil) with the sand to extra approximate what she is probably using through the farm.

Google it. My mom had the same problem, she googled it and found several articles that basically said that cats need full access to their litter box -- which means it should be clean and available when they want to use it. Also, some cats need two litter boxes one for the #1 and another for the #2. If you have more than one cat, you definitely should have one litter box per cat and one extra. My mom has 2 cats, when she bought that extra litter box the problem went away. I found one article for you. It's listed below. Good luck.

first, get some cat pee on a paper towel and put the paper towel in the litter box
Second, clean your house with pine sol, (cats don't like the smell.)
Now your cat will go where he smells his scent. (that's how I taught my cat to use the litter box.) Keep kitty in the house. He's lunch to a coyote.

Is this a joke?
He can't always get to the litter, so he pees outside the door of the room where the box is? Seems logical to me to MAKE THE BOX AVAILABLE ALL THE TIME. Don't close the door, move the box. Dang are you dumb?

You have to a petmarket and buy the cleaning solution which takes away the scent of where your cat urinated. Even if you wipe it with water it wont work. After that you can get cat litter called attract and you'll be fine

You didn't teach him very well. Why can't he get to the litter box?
Where else is he supposed to go if he can't get to the litter box. Once they pee in the house it's all over. They will continue to do it. Lock him in the garage with the litter box at night.
