roast rotis which you get in the store, you have to just heat them on the skillet, do it just before the lunch or dinner.
make potatoes in gravy, with onions, tomatoes, red chilli powder, dhania and jeera powder, garm masala, oil and salt is required, very easy to make.
boil 3or 4 large potatoes, peel them after boiling, cut in cubes, cut onions, tomatoes, heat oil, fry onions, put tomatoes, stir, add all the masalas, stir, add some coconut milk, salt, a pinch of sugar, and garnish with chopped coriander.

cook dal, add salt, a little butter, and in 1 tablespoonful of hot oil, put bay leaves, not too many, 4or 5, and add to the dal.
for pakodas, cut brinjals, capsicum, potatoe, in thin rings, one onion finely chopped, take gram-flour, make a thick paste adding salt and some red chilli powder, a pinch of baking soda, and deep-fry previously-cut veg.s in hot oil, by dipping them in the gram flour paste. use a deep pan for that, keep aside.
take two large cups of yogurt, and remove it in a muslin cloth, tie the knot and keep it away for two hours for the water to drain, keep hanging on a height in the kitchen.
add sugar, saffron dissolved in some warm milk, cardamom powder for flavour, coarsely chopped almonds, to the yogurt you get after the water is drained from it. mix well the sugar and saffron milk. keep aside.
