I was told by a Christian that everything is fated: We are fated to been born as a boy/girl; Fated to be born as a human; Fated to experience what we have gone through in the past.. Is that true? Is really true that everything is fated, instead of yourself decide everything which is going to happen?

I believe it is all planned ahead of time by God. If you study the Christian Bible, it really opens your eyes. It's kinda neat in a way to think about, becuase sometimes I think about how I could have been born ANYWHERE. In a poverish country, to a wealthy or poor family, with disabilities, etc. but I was chose to be born in New Jersey and 100% healthy. I'm a Christian like the person you spoke to, and would say that YES things such as our gender, where we are born, are fated. However, God also allows us to make our own decisions. So if a person commits a crime and goes to jail, or a person does something negative, I feel that it was their mistake that they chose to do and that things like that aren't fated.

I Dont Particularly Believe In The Theory Of Fate, Mostly Because We Can Change What Happens Now So That We Better, Or In Some Cases Worsen Our Lives In The Future. Dont Be So Sure About Christian Statements, The Bible Is Pretty Contradicting In Itself.

What your question is about has been debated for centuries.

It's the age old discussion between predestination and free will.

There is no answer, only what you believe. And neither one is right or wrong.

God HAS predestined (or "fated) certain things to happen, but in creating us, he gave us free will (or the power to choose) the things we say and do.

But it's hard to say which thing is in control. If God created Adam and Eve knowing that Adam would CHOOSE to eat from the Tree of Knowledge and disobey God, did He predestine us all to be mortal?

Sounds Stupid but there are some believers of this theory. Even in Hinduism, its said that your "Karma" in this birth decide your fate in the next birth. I don't believe in this fully but at times I feel there's too much "chance" in quite many things that happened in my life. In present times we try explaining things with science and rest is chance but that Chance can only be explained by such theories.

No
there is no such thing as Fate or God except in the minds of the badly educated and/or superstitious.

i believe you friend probabaly meant destined, not fated. a destination is a place you arrive to, and you could take many different roads, some are good, some are bad. if you take the good roads, you will arrive in heaven. your final destination. fate, to me, is something that happens to you when you choose to do nothing. so... take all the good roads to reach your final destination. do nothing, and your fate will be decided for you.

God has given us the best gift in life, freewill. Even thou he has planned our life he has given a part in how our life should end up. Thing of it this way, is it God will for me to do not work and just sit down the whole day and pray that he makes me successful. No I have to choose the correct path in order for this to happen.

There is nothing called fate.Whaat's the point in living if everything in our life is decided. There would be no struggle,no fight for survival, freedom would become meaningless. So obviously there is nothing called fate. It's just something humans have created to put the blame on when they can't accomplish theri goals
