No way! Are you kidding me? There's no guarantee that someone will still be in love with their partner for a lifetime. One may find out that they hates the other's guts, for whatever reason, somewhere down the line. Knowing that you have that person's name 'permanently' tattooed to your body would really really suck.

It extremely wasn't a lot as damage because it became purely an uncomfortable feeling. the bigger the Tattoo the longer it takes and after a lengthy time period it receives bounce and comfortable from each of the rubbing and pocking. It extremely relies upon on what part of your body you get it and the position at. some places are extra comfortable than others. I were given my tattoo on the exterior part of my calf on my decrease left leg. NO!!! No spouses call! If I ever did names it may in straight forward words be my little ones names. Mine is an Eagle with the banner free Spirit!

No, I don't have my spouses name as a tattoo. Though we like to believe love is everlasting, the examples we see in society tells us that it is not. Also, my friend had a tattoo removed and she said it hurt worst than putting one on.

Regardless if you truly love the person, no one can predict the future. People make mistakes all the time and there's no crime in that, but there are things you just can't get rid of, like a tattoo.

I don't, I don't think it's cool,

First of all having someone's name as a tatoo is nothing unique or trendy, it's kind of corny, Unless you make it really artistic, and hard to recognise , it just looks too high schoolish.

Second, having someone's name tatooed on you the motives is to show how much you care for them and how much they mean to you, It also implies endorsement of love and belonging, which should really be kept unsaid. Love is beautiful because it's mystic, and love is alive when you constantly pursue each other.

3rd, might be the last of your conceren, but would it be possible you would want the tattoo off you one day? remember Angelina Joli?

Don't do it. I have a friend (girl) that has had 5 boyfriends tattooed on her body, and each time has had to cover them up with something bigger. If you want, I can email you a picture of her, but she is literally covered in tattoos. Dont do it, she regrets ever getting tatoos.

My friend is a tattoo artist. He says it's bad luck to get your spouses name...

I have my husbands initials on my ankle. He tried to talk me out of it even while I was getting it done. My son also has the same initials, so now it's for both of them.

If you do, make sure it's in a design that can be easily changed in case things don't work out. Mine looks like a jewel with their initials in the middle.

My ex has my name tattooed on her..it amuses me because she left me for another woman and other woman has to look at me every time..heheh...but it is not a terrible thing to do..if you are secure in your relationship...discuss w/the spouse tho too...if you see a hint of hesitancy...don't do it...

I, personally have tattoos of my kids names, but not any of my ex. I think that would cost a lot more money to remove or cover up if you decide to break up. Your kids will always be your kids, and maybe a guy (or girl) won't be there. I think it would be a dumb idea.
