He probably eats or drinks too fast. My dog use to get them all of the time when she was a puppy. Don't worry about it. They don't hurt the dog.

You dog very possibly is getting hiccups from gulping water and/or eating too fast. You could try giving the same amount of food, but break it down into smaller meals. Also let your dog have only have so much water at a time then you usually supply. This means more drinks and meals during the day, but it may be the solution. Good luck.

Our Puppy gets the hiccups all the time. My mom was concerned about it so she asked the vet. The vet said it was nothing to worry about. She said our puppy would probably grow out of it. So it isn't going to hurt your dog or anything.
