The reason why I ask that question is that I don't like weddings because to me it's like a funeral. I see people cry in weddings that I been to like the two people are finish. And the weddings that I been to, service was suppose to start at 1pm and bride and groom didn't get to the church unitl almost 4pm. Weddings never start on time where as for funerals, if the start time is 9am, at 9:01am the funeral already started and funerals allways start on time. I don't get it.

You know, I have always thought that weddings and funerals were hand in hand. They are both something that I would rather not be a part of. People look at me crazy when I say that because of course there is the myth that we all want a fairytale wedding but not me...I'd rather just get married in Vegas and that be the end of it.
I don't look at weddings being like funerals because everyone is crying. I just think it's like a funeral because everyone is gathered there and it's time out of my day when I would rather be at home and not with the people I'm with.

A late wedding is typically a sign of a wedding coordinator not properly doing their job to keep everything on time.

The latest one of our weddings has ever started was 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you use a professional coordinator and planner, all of the details are worked out ahead of time to ensure that everything goes smoothly and on time.

well,...a lot of the times the photographer needs to take pictures and i have noticed that if the DJ sucks,..the reception sucks and seems to take forever. I love going to wedding just to see how different they can be depending on the decoration,..food, Dj, dresses and that good stuff. But then again,..i'm a girl. Boyz could give 2 sh**s.

Weddings shouldnt take that long to start....in your case, that was just disrespectful to their guests....I wouldn't have stayed that long.....I got married a month ago, the wedding was at 3 and it started at maybe 3:05, if that late.

Usually when it starts late its because of the photographer taking numerous pictures of the bridal party
