how do you know if you are in love, or if you just think you are?

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me is...
(L)isten: and Validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

Only you can answer this one. Love is reciprocol. Both parties care more about the other than themselves. Love should make you feel good about yourself. Love is when you feel safe and cared for. Love is when you want to do more for them then anyone. Love is respect and tolerance. Love is accepting someone just the way they are.

Well,....for me it's how much I miss him when I'm not around him. I can also tell when i have no interest in other men. There are also other feelings that are hard to explain like when you are making love, cuddling, joking around, and sometimes even when you are fighting. But I guarantee you will know when it happens.

i honestly have no idea. My question is if love is really real or is it a figment of our imagination. Is it a state of mind? I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question. Does anybody really know the answer? Maybe it's different for all of us. I have the same question you do. how do you know? it's all so very confusing....I wish I knew.

When you gets nerveous when you get around him/her. You get butterflys in your stomace when you see him/her. When you never want to loose them or think about looseing them. I was once in love and I lost it. If you r never let go.
