Moses taught his followers God's Name. He told them to call on it and to use it. Moses taught that this Name is God's forever. It is an important Name.

Exodus 3:15
"God, furthermore, said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, 'YaHWeH, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you ' This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations."

The words "allah", "god", "elohim", "lord" or any equivalent are not names of God no matter how much somebody believes them to be. "Allah" is the English eqivalent of the word "God". That is not a name but a word to describe what the supreme being is in relation to His creation.
God revealed what His Name is to Moses. Each prophet of God after Moses used the Name of God and taught it to their followers. Yet Muhammad does not mention it. Muhammad does not teach his followers the Name of God. It is one of the signs that shows Muhammad to be a true prophet.

If you had known the history of this word 'God', you would have not asked this question.
Tell me one thing. Did Mosus (peace be upon him) know english or Jesus or Abraham, or jacob or David (Peace be upon them all). Tell me about any prophet who used to speak english then where did this word 'GOD' come from?
You are looking at the mirror image. God is the english translation of Allah and not the vice versa.
As far as this statement is concerned , that Mohammad (peace be upon him) did not teach the right name of Allah the Almighty or he even did not know, Let me tell you one thing the name Allah is mentioned in the quran which is word of God (Allah the Almighty). We don't need to see any other source to check the name if this is mentioned in quran.
There is no authentic religion book exists but Quran.
Mohammad (peace be upon him) mentioned this name thousands of time and all muslims know who is Allah the Almighty.

Islam considers the name of God to be a sacred thing that cannot be uttered or written down. It is too holy a thing to be spoken or put on paper.

Because you consider Muhammed to be wrong and Moses to be right, does that make it so? Because you consider the Bible to be right and the Koran to be wrong, does that make it so?

Why is it that the atheists are combative to the Christians and the Christian are combative to the Muslims and the Muslims are combative to the Christians and the Christians are combative among themselves. I mean with the atheists, it's at least understandable but God is adamant about us not fighting about him and being loving and peaceful. What gives anyway!

Has it ever occurred to you that people just don't care and there is still no scientific proof God or any gods exist or have existed, with the exception of Bob Dylan and Willy Wonka.

What you call it really doesn't matter because it's power and greatness is far beyond some petty name.
