Genetics and the outward expression of those genes is not our choice ever. Who knows, you may have a grandchild one day with your lovely hair. Something to look forward to!

Curly hair is a dominant trait and straight hair is recessive. My sister's hair is board straight and mine is very curly. My parents and all grandparents but one have wavy or curly hair. If you've passed on the "straight hair gene" that you are a carrier for along with the children's father, then the kids will have straight hair.
The odds won't increase or decrease that you will have kids with curly hair; it is a set ratio with each birth.

It depends on shape of your hair follicle inside your skin. Rounded hair follicles will make hair that are molded to the rounded hair shaft. Thus, rounded hair follicles will make curly hair. It is like shaping an iron rod melted and molded in a specified container/shape. Of course, the shape of your hair follicles is determined by genetics/heredity.

Genetics. Probably the dominant jean in all your three kids wasn't curly hair, it would of either came from your partner, or people in the family such as your mother and father or your partners mother and father.

I have 3 kids and none of them have my hair. Yours is curly due to heredity somewhere.

well i think its genetics. see, my parents both have darker complexions and dark hair. but i'm a red head with fair skin! my older brother has naturally tan skin too. i was told my great grandparents on both sides were fair skinned with red hair. so i guess genetics sometimes just skip a few generations and show up later!
