Alaska has the longest coast line in the USA. However, in the contenintal US, Michigan has the longest coastline. it's longer than Florida and Californias.

Hee. This is actually a very interesting question.

It depends on how they are measured!

Say one state has a VERY smooth coast line and another one has a very craggy one.

If you measured first with a yard stick then with a foot ruler the craggy one would give a different answers!
