Give the driver a roadmap

Bus drivers, lunch ladies and custodians are usually the ones left off the gift list at Christmas and the end of the year. I know this, because I fall in the catagory. So, I always make sure that my kid gets them something. I have always found that a 5 dollar gift card to McDonalds or Sonic is good. They have to eat and can get a whole meal at one of these places for less than 5 bucks. They both serve 3 meals a day, so they can use it any time.

well i think that children honestly dont need to thank a bus driver...i mean i don thtink he or she actually wants to be there bcz they are obviously doing it for the money i mean who would want to drive a bus around town all day?? not me!! but i mean if this bus driver is seriously dedicated to his work and loves the kids then i think that a thank you could do...thats about it...

I would think that a greeting card would be nice. It would be something he/she could display at home and something to remember the children by.

As a classroom teacher, I would recommend that they behave themselves while riding, and as they exit say something simple like, "Thank you for your good driving," or just "Thank you." Why overcomplicate things?
