Faith is an intangible trust in something that defies all logic. Faith is a blind leap simply because one's intuition tells them that something is so. Faith is based on trust. To have faith is to ignore uncertaintly because of the feelings of your heart. Faith is a precursor to spirituality because it defies all logic. Faith is what transcends the concrete and empirical with something that inspires beyond human confines.

The word faith has various uses; its central meaning is similar to "belief", "trust" or "confidence", but unlike these terms, "faith" tends to imply a transpersonal rather than interpersonal relationship – with God or a higher power. The object of faith can be a person (or even an inanimate object or state of affairs) or a proposition (or body of propositions, such as a religious credo). In each case, however, faith is in an aspect of the object and cannot be logically proven or objectively known. Faith can also be defined as accepting as true something which one has been told by someone who is believed to be trustworthy. It can also mean believing unconditionally. In its proper sense faith means trusting the word of another

Faith in Christianity centers on faith in the saving grace of Christ Jesus the Son of the living God, who died for the sin of the world. The precise meaning and content of faith in Christianity differs somewhat between the various Christian traditions. The definition of this quality for Christians is found in the scriptural text at Hebrews 11:1: "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see".

Faith is believing in someone or something unseen; like when you look at an airplane you have faith that there is a pilot flying it even though you cannot see him/her. My faith is in the Lord and what He did for me on the cross. I hope you have faith. Thank you for your question.

I think faith is believing something you have no hard evidence of. Everybody has faith in things, even if it's not a spiritual faith. People put their faith in other people, in their jobs, in God, in themselves, in things scientists say. Basically, anything you have not personally seen evidence of, but you still believe.

Fiath is the substance of things that does exist yet. Faith bring forth things that are not yet in your life. The only person that can cause something to happen that is good and healthy it the person that is living the life that has the faith to.

There are things that each one of us don't know and cannot be logically proven. For example, I don't know what numbers the lotto machine is going to pick this week.

However, as a human I am very curious, and I want to know the numbers.
So I start looking around for numbers. The number 226 occurs quite frequently in my life, so 2, and 26

I was born in the 32th week of the year.

The last two digits in my phone number are 42.

I don't know that this are the numbers but I know that the chances of winning are very very slim. If I'm going to win it must be because I'm meant to. The above numbers are important in my life so I'm going to win because I'm meant to.

This is what faith is. People look at events in their life with no relevance to each other and look to them for answers.

The dictionary says faith is confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing. That's the short version. Blessed be, child.
