I also need the liquor to make a genuine Caipriana from South America. Anywhere in Maryland? The alcohol begins with the letters cha... I believe the drink originated in Argentina.
I understand that the bottle for the Damiana represents the Incan Goddess of Fertility and is shaped like a pregnany woman. It is supposed to be a great liquer that can be substituted for others.

Hi! The South American spirit is Cachaca, a sugar cane distillate from Brazil. A Caipirinha is a wonderful drink...you can find recipes on webtender.com and such. As for Damiana, I would search the internet for the US importer, then call that importer to see who the distributor for the product is in your area. Then, call that distributor and ask who their best Damiana accounts are in the area (retail). It will take a bit of time but should produce an answer.
