we should all question the government. now then ever we should all stick together and see who is really the bad guy in this story. hatred is spredding like crazy and all these little things are happening, it is time to really see in what hands we are in. if we don't see this now , this country is soon to be destroyed. corruption, is to much to deal with now.
i'm not talking about the politicians, politicians have always been corrupted and selfishi'm talking about the hippies, John lennon all those who marched and try to question are rulers.

YES!!!!!!!!!!! there is no other way to say it The PEOPLE of this country NEED to stand up and MAKE THEM accountable for their actions NOW or WE are ALL DOOMED. This Gov't is KILLING this country and right now they're getting away w/it, no one would put up w/someone committing murder why are we allowing the MURDER of this country to take place??? You want to go back to a decade in which a President was assassinated, in which half the country was on dangerous drugs and in which irresponsible journalism endangered Freedom of the Press far more than the government did?
I don't think you were around in the sixties (I was) if you truly believe we should go back to it, and I think you need to go a little beyond pop culture and look at all of history--going back to at least Rome.
I agree we should question the government--and we do. A lot. But I don't think whacked out British entertainers on pyschedelic drugs are the role model I would want.

The part of this time era that you are speaking of wasn't all that great.
The public as a whole wasn't behind these hippies or John Lennon. Their criticisms of the war, free love in the streets were a disgrace to America and the American way of life.
I lived during those times... and I remember how it was vs the way it is reported now.

Every era has good and bad. There was some really bad stuff happening in the 60's I don't think I want to see assassinations, blatant racial hatred, etc. again. It certainly wasn't all bad but those things were biggies.

for no matter what time in history there have bben problems and even during 60's. but think it this way who were hippies? who marched ahead without a second thought. even today we have braving people who march ahead but with proper considerstion. i don't abt any other country but in india we have nafisa ali and mahesh bhatt.

I remember the sixties the slogan of the sixties was don't trust anyone over 30, now their all old farts, in our political system and greedy CEO's, they ushered in rebellion, drugs and greed, and those greedy corporations are going to destroy us, with their cheap labor.

60s SUCKED big time! Communism ruled in most of Europe.
Plus...no Internet , stupid "sexual revolution", hippies, then Vietnam....real madness.
