Some will tell you that Lucifer tempted Adam and Eve and thereby created sin. They ignore the following: Would God create a tree with fruit that gives the knowledge of Good and Evil if He didn't expect, anticipate and desire for that fruit to be eaten? What would be the point?
God created the fruit only for one reason: So that Man would eat of it and know the difference between Good and Evil. No reason to put it in the garden if He didn't want that, and since He knows all, we see that he knew they would eat before he even created them.

God did not create sin. Lucifer, of his own free will, tempted Adam and Eve to commit sin, and thereby introduced sin into the world.

Logically God created sin. He gave us rules and made us capable of breaking those rules. Even though Eve was tempted by the serpent, God is the creator of all, including the serpent. There are those who argue that this was gods plan in the first place.
But hey, God gave you free will. So even if he is the progenitor of the whole thing, you can't blame him (or Satan for that matter) for your sins - you did them! That's why god was angry at Adam and Eve, and not the Serpent.

god couldn't create a universe purely good... there had to have been a balance... for light there's dark, for good there's bad... remember the first passages.... He separated the Light from the dark? The Light was not literal sunlight.. but Jesus Christ from sin, purety from evilness... etc. Man was created dumb to any known sin, but the ability to sin. Like, Adam had the ability to kill Eve, he just didn't KNOW he could. God told them not to touch the tree, and they did.... that's when their eyes were opened to sin, and blammo.. started sinning. sigh... stoopids.

Man. There was no sin until the first law. God created creation in Love. All of it. God is Love. There is no separation from God except in the eyes of man. God is not vengeful and does not require atonement.

The Bible tells us that "... good and perfect gifts come from God"
Lucifer rebelled, and that is the original sin.
