The red heifer is symbolic of Jesus' blood shed outside the walls of Jerusalem.

Numbers 19:2 "This is the statute of the law that the LORD has commanded: Tell the people of Israel to bring you a red heifer without defect, in which there is no blemish, and on which a yoke has never come. 3 And you shall give it to Eleazar the priest, and it shall be taken outside the camp and slaughtered before him.

Isaiah 1:18 the LORD said though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow, though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool, the red bull can be a symbol of Christ blood, red, also it is a sin offering, sin being red, can it possibly be two fold when it comes to being red?

It was a specific color and command. Just like the Ark. He told Noah, to build it our of a specific kind of wood. Not that any wood would have been ok. This demonstrated obedience. That why it took Noah so long to build it. This specific wood was not ready just laying around.

The Shroud, they dug up. was is real? No. They have not proved it is yet. They cannot prove it is ever. They missed something. There is 1 thing buried under the Shroud, that will be dug up with it. They did not find this item. What is it?

They are still digging today. They are 1800 feet from it. the original hole caved in. coincidence? It was not time yet.

They will get to this item, they feel like in just as little as 1 year.
We'll see.

When God gives a specific commandment. There is a reason. It's a act of obedience.

Actually it was not just any old red heifer. It was supposed to be a 3-year old red heifer. Why a red heifer? Because it had to be absolutely pure from head to tail without any spots or markings of any kind.

This 3-year old red heifer was used to sanctify the Temple in Jerusalem and make it holy.

This 3-year old red heifer is a prophetic figure of the Virgin Mary, who:

- was pure and spotless in mind, body and soul;
- was dedicated to the LORD by her parents, Joachim and Anna, from before her birth and was presented in the Temple of Jerusalem at the age of 3 in fulfillment of that vow. From that point on, she lived in the Temple (along with other consecrated virgins - but she alone lived inside the Holy of Holies) until she had to leave at the time of her puberty. And by her presence in the Temple, it was she who sanctified it and made it holy, since she herself is the true Temple of God, having conceived and nurtured Christ in her womb.

This is the real meaning of the red heifer. Glory be to God!

Good question. Maybe because of red being the color of blood?
