Have been down here for 4 days with fever ranging from 100.0 to 102.4. When will it end?

My mother always says "5 days coming and 5 days going." Somewhere in the middle is when you feel awful. Think about when you first started feeling sickly and calculate. It usually works out for me unless there is an infection requiring antibiotics. Often a fever is a good indicator of infection though, so I would see a doctor to be sure.

Try to call your doctor to see if you can take an over the counter medication. You say that you "have been down here for 4 days" ,are you on vacation somewhere? If so, your doctor may be able to give you some suggestions over the phone. I hope you are feeling better soon!!

Antipyretics take fevers down. Ice under your pits and in your groin can help. But, if it's been four days, you really should see your doctor. Could be a sign of an infection in your body. Let them do the diagnosing.

no, but i have a cough and cold right now! it sucks cuz i am going to the beach for 5 days on saturday and i'm sick!

Get alot of rest and fluids in you. Gets worse go to the doc.

just got rid of it had it for 2 days, thank god it's gone. you probably have about 2 more days. hope you feel better
