Brides often expect a bigger wedding than parents can or are willing to pay. Email info@southpadreweddings.com
They have complete packages for 2 or 2000 people. Starting at $200 & going up. They have wedding planner, caterer, photographer & etc. Information may help both of you come to a joint decision. Remember if the wedding is out of town, the number of guest will go down too. My grandson's godmother is getting married at beach town & her wedding is running between $50,000-$75,000. Depends on final decision on location - down to 2. That is a good down payment on a house.

If you have a big family that's half the battle, for my daughters wedding my friends and family provided all the food , the DJ was reasonable and we got the hall for free from our church, we did all the decorating and cleaning. You can do it too.

get you own chairs for the beach area and just decor them, make your owm decorations you can make alot of the stuff yourself, have your family do the cooking. That should save you some money.
