Yes, as long as you eat small quantities.

Not a problem provided you adhere to the key...moderation. Everything in small doses, no sitting on the couch watching TV with a bucket of ice cream or a package of chocolate fudge cookies :)
Lots of water will help counteract the higher level of calories if you wish to eat whatever you wish. However, don't get discouraged when you don't lose weight as quickly as you would like.
One way to do this all, is to arrange your diet around good foods and add the "fattening" ones on your "bad day" only. For example, Mon-Thurs you adhere to the more dietary aspects i.e., salads, fruits, veggies, protein, fibre, eg. Fri your "bad day" where you can stuff yourself silly with whatever foods you really love. Sat and Sun you go on the purging end of things and doing so in a healthy way, min. 8 glasses of water, fruits in the morning for breakfast, 2hrs later a fruit of your choice, 2 hours later your lunch consisting of a protein whey shake (the pure whey shakes no sugar mixed in lemon water or a flavored water of your choice that doesn't have sugar is fine), along with a bowl of varied fruits mixed with plain yogurt (Activa is a great one), 2 hrs later another fruit, 2 hours later dinner...large salad with extra virgin olive oil and lemon for the dressing. If you can do 11 glasses of water these two days...all the better.
By continuing this and getting some exercise in that you enjoy doing, you should see yourself shrinking...but in a decent way. Don't skip meals, don't be surprised if it appears you have gained weight before you lose it...you are losing but through water loss in the early days...patience and dedication will get you where you want to go and it won't hurt near as much as some of the more restrictive diets do.
By allowing yourself the bad day to just pig out...you are telling yourself that you are doing a great job and are being rewarded :)
Good luck with this...you might want to grab a few books from a library too...particularly diet cookbooks to see if you might not want to vary your Mon-Thur intake.

It is not possible to go on a strict diet and eat whatever you want.Instead you can get the same palatable tastes with healthier components like fruits and vegetables.Prepare fruit salads with a bit of masala and sugar to make it a little spicy.Go for saccharine rich foods rather than the sugar rich substances.Eat at regular intervals and maintain your schedule well.Do not disturb the routine.Do not forget to drink plenty of water.

If you're still eating whatever you want you're not on a diet. The point of a diet is to change/restrict your eating habits.

Yes. Diet is what you eat. "Going on a diet" implies that you are eating. Whatever you eat is your diet. Now....if you want to lose weight, proper diet is essential, and no you can not eat anything you want if you are actually trying to lose weight.

i do not think so...you can eat a little amount of your favorite food but you can not be on a diet and eat whatever you want.. unless you spend what time your not eating at the gym trying to work it off and i do believe that would be to hard.....

Just eat small snack-type meals every 3 - 5 hrs at a time. Also take Nutrilite CLA 500 (great stuff!).

It's according to what you want and when you want it. Atkins was kind of thin but he died of congestive heart failure. The types of foods dictate what you get.
Mostly unprocessed foods and more vegetables and fruits are good for the long run. Definitely, if it can be helped, no hydrogenated oils. They found that NO level is good for you in any way, shape or form.

If that is what you want your diet to be. Portion control & excercize are probably the most important factors to proper dieting.

Something that I heard of recently is called "Intuitive Eating". The basic concept, from my understanding, is that you allow yourself to have pretty much any food that you want, when you want it. Denying yourself food is like telling a kid that he can't do something - he just wants to do it more!
