Depends on how much you can stand each other in long spans of time.
Some people NEED their space and freak out if they don't get it. It can become a big problem down the road.
Personally, I live with my boyfriend. We've lived together for a year and are going to continue to live with each other through next school year too. We LOVE spending time together. Your boyfriend/lover/husband should be your best friend. You should love spending time together, and respect each other's need for alone time as well. I work different hours than my bf, and that gives him sufficient space. When he works, I am at home to meditate and whatever else I feel the need to do that I'm not inclined to do when he's around.
You have to set your own boundaries.
When we didn't live together, we spent 4-6 days a week together when not at school, to give time for study and personal time. Otherwise, we love hanging out with each other and we enjoy the challenge of relationships. We become stronger and happier the more we're together.
Ask your bf if he thinks you are spending too much time together now, and if he says no, believe him. Men tend to be very open when it comes to invading their alone time. He'll tell you if it's too much... if not just by an attitude change for the worse.

This question really depends on a lot of things. When I was going to College, I was only able to see my girlfriend on the weekends. When I was not going to college I was able to see her all the time.
Seeing someone never really becomes too much. If you are truly in love, you never seem to find enough time. Now if its just a kind of a fling, 2-3 times a week should be a safe bet.

Before getting married, you should spend every hour of every week together, that way there would be less divorce because of less weddings. Anyone that says spending too much time with their partner/B/G friend, They are not in love. "I want to spend every second with you." That's what i told my girl 25 years ago. We are still the same way and i love her more each day. It becomes too much when you are with someone who is wrong for you.

well, my man and I are not exactly seeing each any more, OH WELL.........
2 to 3 times a week was good enough for me. He wanted to see me more than that. That was part of the problem.
I guess we are not quite right for each other, huh??
Whether it's once a week or every day, the couple has to be on the same page or it will not last very long.

4 times a week should be just nice. It became too much when you don't have the space to start missing each other.
