I just found that i have a peach tree in my back yard, and i remember that peach wine tastes amazing when its nice and cold... is it possible to make it at home just from the peaches from the tree and things from the grocery store?

uh... yeah. just do like any other wine making add some sugar and some yeast. Find a recipe online it is easy. stew the peaches and strain them with like a cheese cloth or the best you can do.... then mix all ingredients into a glass container put a balloon over the top and when the balloon fills up with air and starts to go down then viola... it is good. Make sure to cook your peaches so they are sterilized and boil your container and utensils. There is also a good recipe for a liquor made out of Pineapples. the website provided gives a good easy recipe. they also have recipes for wines out of almost anything

Not likely to taste the same as peach wine flavour is made during the fermenting/brewing. Using peaches from trees, I guess you are thinking of soaking them in the wine that you buy from the grocer. No, it will not be the same. But no harm trying. Don't forget the wine itself has its own flavours and they may or not complement the peach flavour.

Best is to go buy another bottle of peach wine.

I have fermented apple juice from apples that grow in the yard here. And I have had fermented pear ale... you can search the net to find out how or buy a book on fermenting.... it will not be grape wine, but it will be fermented with some alcohol content.... bet it will be good. I have a book titled "Wild Fermentation" written by Sandor Ellix Katz. This is where I learned how to ferment apples my homemade apple juice.
Hope you have much success! All the bet, Leah

the fermenting process (how wine becomes alcoholic) is pretty complicated, so if you don't do it right you're just going to have rotten peach juice.

if you leave it in the fridge long enough it will turn into alcohol but probably not wine
