I am an american living in Mexico. Tese radio spots were all over the airwaves just after the Christmas holiday, because over 1.5 million illegals were getting ready to illegally return to The USA.
The spots told Mexicans that they had RIGHTS to livein the US, no matter their immigration status.
The spots also told them that they had Rights to medical and social services (read welfare) in the USA and that they should return to their RIGHTFULL homes and not worry!
Can you believe that? And he tries to say to the US government that he is doing ALL in his power to stem the flow of illegals into the USA!

I emailed this information to the White House, my Michigan representatives and senators and to the detroit news/freepress, the new york times and other papers
No response from anyone!

Angi, I live here I heard the radio announcements. There is no story to link to, they burried it. The government does not want you to know about it!

I am married to a MEXICAN woman and we lived in Michigan for 11 yrs and she is a naturalized citizen of the USA. Both of our boys hold dual citizenship by birthright.
In 3 yrs, I will become a dual citizen, myself!

He is guilty of much more. If a middle eastern country had inflicted as much distress on the US as Mexico has we would be watching Geraldo reporting from the Green Zone in Mexico City.

You're not really living in Mexico, and you probably don't actually understand any Spanish either.
The radio spots do inform people who go to the U.S. without paperwork that they do have rights, which is true according to the U.S. Constitution. Rights such as a fair trial apply to all people who are here. The police are supposed to help everyone in a time of need no matter what their immigration status is. Doctors are supposed to save lives without looking for a piece of paper. Those are the kinds of things that the public service announcements detailed. Your explanation is dishonest at best, racist propaganda at worst.

If this is true and no response, well that sounds about right from our govt. And yeah why wouldn't President Fox want to clean up his country and send his poor people away so he won't have to deal with his countries poverty level. He wants to pass the burden to the United States.
Because he obviously is not doing a damn thing about it now to help his mexican citizens that are living in poverty,etc.
