I don't like canned chili, so here is a recipe for skillet queso that has homeade chili
chili > 3 oz ground beef
1 tsp all purpose flour
pinch of salt
pinch black pepper
16-oz bottle cheeze whiz
2 tbl milk
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp paprika
In small bowl mix together beef, flour, pinch salt, pinch pepper, & chili powder. Use hands to mix, then brown beef over medium heat. Use spoon to crumble the beef as it cooks. cook meat until brown & set aside.
Melt the cheese with 2 tbls spoons milk over low heat. When milk & cheese is combined add the beef & remaining ingredients. Heat while stiring often until mixture is hot & everything is well combined. Cover saucepan & remove from heat. Serve with chips for dipping.

Chili (with meat), velveeta and cheddar - I think that's what it tastes like.
