Good Lord, did these people even read your question?
If so, they must not be from planet Earth.
I have no idea where some of those answers came from.
Debra H and Ether1222 gave you good info.
The female will carry her babies for about 60 days (anything from 59 to 63 is within normal)
The other answers...LOL they must have pulled them out of their butts because their brains knew better.

Gestation (pregnancy) is somewhere between 58-68 days, with an average of around 63. Whelping should take no more than 4 hours. After that, take her to the vet unless you know how to help her whelp (have) the puppies. (that knowledge includes how to pull a stuck puppy, open a water sac that didn't burst, cut umbilical cords, and such. Normally the dog will take care of all that though if you just leave her alone and check in every 20 minutes or so.

You'll know that she's ready to go in labor because a couple days before she will start digging around, trying to find a place to build a nest. (Watch piles of laundry or blankets!!!) About a day before, she'll go off her feed.

Congrats on the puppies!

Do you mean after she has started her labor? If so, I know it took ours about 16hrs to have 8 puppies. She had 6 and we thought that was it and then about 3hrs later she had 2more.

from the time she gets pregnant to the time she will deliver will be almost always 60 days!-the actual delivery depends on her health as well as your attention to her actions, she may start hiding, or bedding-grabbbing blankets or she may have been born in a box which she will try to find for herself, hiding in a box!-this will start way before birth is due-when it is their will be panting &excessive cleaning of herself-you will know!
