I have seen some long R.V units parked in Brooklyn that you could tell were not City owned, and they got away with it. Does anyone know the official rules for parking a small Van conversion type R.V. of class B smaller van R.V. in New York in the Midtown area of central park on the streets?

Its perfectly legal to park on the street, however, you will not be permitted to reside in the RV. If it appears that you are using your RV for lodging purposes a cop will probably tell you to move along. If you choose to sleep in the RV do not do anything to draw attention to yourself or the vehicle. So do not turn on any interior lights and be sure to minimize the trips in and out of the vehicle.

You can park it, but it may not be there in the morning. It is an easy target.
