OK, my boyfriend dumped me about 2 months ago by e-mail - a really cruel one. To make a long story short, we were together a little over a year, I thought things were great. Then I get this nasty e-mail out of the blue saying how he never wanted to talk to me again, he never loved me, he was tired of me calling him, and that he was moving out of the country and for me to just get over him. Well, we already knew he was moving- we had planned a romantic last weekend (lots of hot sex), then were going to break up, he dumped me 2 weeks after he didn't come home for that weekend. He still won't talk to me. What do you think? Was he wrong? I just want to know what went wrong. Don't I deserve that much???? Should I just give up completely, quit trying to get him to talk to me? I still love him, and getting over him would be easier if i just knew....

It's so hard when stuff like this happens because of one simple fact:

Guys are dogs.

There's something that is important to remember. All guys have the ability to act like dogs. Somewhere along the way, a guy, no matter how good he is, is going to treat a woman badly.

But there are two types of guys: The ones who feel badly about it, and the ones who don't.

The ones who feel badly about it, those are the ones who generally will learn from their mistakes and generally won't do it again. The ones who don't feel badly about it... well... run away from them.

Hang in there. I'm sorry that happened to you.

yeah, guys are replacable, his way of dumping you was probably his way of forgetting about you, so go ahead and return the favour. heck, if you wanted to get back at him, you could sleep with a bunch of his friends, but that would open up a new can of worms.

honestly, you need to just get past it. He was wrong. I don' know why.....he might not know why. Why he did what he did doesn't change what happened. Move on you'll be better off.

I agree with Cheech, you're better off without him.
