Ok, this is a deep thinking dream i had so bear with me ,and tell me what you think. Scene: im in monk like clothes in an open cave with a waterfall with vivid red and blue lighting behind it, i feel totaly at peace, a voice is,in my head, berating me (the devil i think) telling me to denounce Jesus, then i'm just under the surface of totaly calm lake, freazing cold water, im warm i'm drownding and the voice is saying do it now! but i refuse and aperently am drownding , im not strugling at all and i feel myself slip away, i woke up the wit hte most peacefull fealing that folowed me all day, whats up with this realy realistic dream? anyone?

Well, it is an interesting one.
Often in dreams we recreate the struggles we face in our waking life. Are you having a spiritual struggle? Or is there some conflict in your close relationships? Something or someone is pulling you down (under the surface), but you will prevail. The conflicts between God and Devil rarely have anything to do with religion, they can be a symbol of family.
Anxiety dreams can be very vivid, and according to your peaceful feeling you felt once you woke, everything is going to work out for you.

let me analyze this dream
monk like clothes = you are believer of some sort.
open cave with waterfall... = nice place that you feel peaceful
A voice to denounce Jesus = guilt conscience.
you were under surface of totally calm lake, freezing cold water..
and you were drowning....
That could only mean one thing. You are struggling in believing Jesus and deep down you want to believe The devil is telling not to.. You feel peaceful when you woke up because your guilt conscious left you.
You may have sinned something that you didn't want to, but you were telling this in your dream..

You probably had a past life rememberance. Where when you dream or see something to set off something in you subconsious that happened in a past life. This probably happened sometime when jesus walked the earth or shortly after.

well it could reflect what you believe in and that you would rather die and be at peace with God then to do what ole scratch would want you to do. Or it could be teaching you something and that peaceful feeling is pleased with you maybe heck I am not a prophet
