Would you date a man that made minimum wage, takes care of and lives with his mom.. What if he didn't have a car? I want to know everyones view on this. How do people in this world really think?
I once asked my girlfriend Rose if she would be my friend if I had nothing. She paused and then said yes she would but i have a funny feeling that Rose isn't all that she seems.
Rose isn't wealthy and depends alot on parents to help out with the bills, she is 23 and is always looking for a man that has something she says.
Because Rose has a boyfriend of two yrs who keeps trying to dump her. She feels it is okay for him to talk down to her as long as he has something to offer.
I choose to date because I like a guy whether he is rich or poor, Why does Rose feel that the men she chooses to sleep with are a class above the rest?

dating is supposed to be fun. but you have to give it to the guy. he is taking care of his mom and as far as minimum wage goes it depends what his future looks like. if he is going to school or is trying to do something with his life then it can't be that bad to be with him. but if he is going no where then it is gonna kind of be hard and get old real quick

I would date a man if I like him and I don't care about his finances or money. We can both have a job to get on with life and buy things we want to buy.
About your friend Rose, maybe she was born poor so she was tired of being poor. Everybody wanted to be rich and have all the money. Other guys especially the girls, have their own way of getting rich. They wanted to catch a rich guy so when they get married, they woud be instant millionare!
Don't judge your friend (I know you're not judging her). Just be more understanding.

I think the caliber of the man has more to do with who he is then what he has. Dating for money or things is shallow and trite, and unless you look like a porn star, will end in heartache.
