And you can get a little more creative than, "I hate flying" if you want.

For me, it is having to leave after my time is up. I go to the theme parks in Orlando every two months with my family. We all hate to leave! But back to work and school we go...

I love flying! "Getting there is half the fun..." That statement is so true! I love every aspect of travel, from the new smells of a different country, the different look of the currency, the different language being heard in the background, people looking the same as in America, but acting different, the food, the transportation and architecture of the buildings... I love just about everything about traveling! I would travel weekly if I could, because my life is boring here at home. So, what I hate MOST about travel is, of course- COST! Argh I hate the fact that plane tickets are into the hundreds, yet some flights have empty seats! I always get very emotional when I visit a place, especially when I have to leave, because there is not a whole lot I have to go back to. Here in America I'm shy, and afraid to even step outside the front door. In other countries I see before me a life that I never had, and all of my dreams seem within reach, but every place I've visited I've had to leave no later than two weeks after landing. So...

No matter where I have lived and visited, whenever it's time to come home, I always think, "What could I do for a living in order to stay here???"

It's happened to me when I traveled to the South, parts of the Midwest, and even the Caribbean. Invariably, I am happy to get home, but I suppose the reticence is a good thing. If one is fond enough of a place within a few days to want to move there, the place and the people must really possess magnetism!

I hate going through security at the airport. I am always the "chosen one" to be searched with the wand. Haven't been in the back room yet, thank goodness. I don't know if they have my photo on a database or what, but it never fails. It all started on my first flight to Chicago...my underwire bra set off the metal detectors (and I'm not a big girl). And I'm always worried that somebody's going to run off with my passport, laptop or shoes. I'm standing there being wanded by an overzealous female security guard, trying to keep an eye on my stuff by looking over my shoulder, getting poked and prodded in the ribs. Don't they know how easy it is for someone to just walk off with another person's purse? Of course they won't let me take it over with me.

So, yeah...security is the worst part for me.

The worst part of traveling, for me, is the time between getting up the morning of the trip and getting through security at the airport. For some reason that piece of time always stresses me out. Once I'm "inside" the airport everything else is a breeze.... until it's time to head for home and I have to go through it heading the other way.

The worst part for me would have to be going to a place. It seems to always take longer to get there and you get home quicker. I don't mind the drive or fly if there's a good view, but it makes me impatient when there's nothing good to do on the trip.

Making sure I have everything that I need is top of the list then if we are traveling by car that is the second on the list. I hate sitting in a car for hours on end because I tend to get motion sick. Traveling by plane is a cinch for me

Having to print your return or connecting flight tickets at a computer. It is done by computer and a credit card only with no flight attendant involved. Problem is, each ticket is done one by one needing ID by the computer so tickets for kids cannot be done this way. You have to flag down a flight attendant in the area to get the tickets for your kids. This took extra time and was a mess as far as being in line goes. No one likes to hold up a line at the airport!

I frequently fairly appreciate air commute....yet i think of the worst element for me is the likely infinite waiting in lines....first at examine-in, and then on the secure practices examine element. i think if I have been to envision in on line greater generally, it could make issues slightly much less complicated. I even have not travelled by ability of air for a 12 months now, nonetheless.

Well, first off the time it takes to get to your destination, to get out of "post travel sickness" aka Jet Lag, lol. Then to get accustomed to the food, culture, language, among others.
And then there are always rude passengers that make your travel less pleasant as are officials/ customs officers at airports.

I don't like to leave my cat, Pywacket, with pet sitters or at a boarding house. The last time we went to Australia for 3 weeks, we left her at a boarding house that allows cats to interact. We thought it would be like summer camp for her, meeting other furry friends. She was so terrified that she didn't leave her 'condo' (cage) for the entire three weeks. Her whiskers started to fall out and her black face started to get grey hairs. Since then, we now have her 'grandmother ' stay with her in her own environment when we travel. Some cats just don't like other cats. Mine is a scaredy cat.
