If you really love him, tell him. How could you live the rest of your life wondering what could have been. He might still go in the Air Force but he might come back to you. If you are as good of friends as you say you will not lose your friendship for being honest even if he does not feel the same about you, it might be awkward for a while but you will still be close friends. Good luck

You can't tell the guy going into the Air Force that you don't want him to go and that you want him to come home to you. Here's why: If he has already signed up but hasn't shipped off yet, he can't change his mind. He has committed to a time in the Air Force and if you make him think he made a serious mistake he will regret it for the next couple of years. Instead, suggest that you two get together before he leaves. After he leaves you should write him letters....3 or 4 times a week. In a matter of weeks he will get to come home on "leave" and he will want to be with you then. Let your relationship grow that way. When he gets out of the AF, If you are lucky he will come home to you! Good Luck

Dont not tell him for fear of losing the friendship u have. If u are falling for him and tell him it will only make your friendship tighter. Even if it does not work out (physically) then u will know and he will know that a soul mate is there for each of you. And he may have the same feelings for you and is probably less likely to spill the beans for the same fear.....GO FOR IT

Tomorrow is never a promise. You should always do what your heart tells you, fear is the only thing preventing you. Try to be fearless. If you are too scared to say "I'm falling for you.", say something like, "I wonder how we would have done as a couple" or something along those lines, and see how he reacts. Just play it cool, but be true to your heart. Also, realize that it is fair to him, to have the knowledge about how you feel, before he leaves.

I think you should tell him how you feel. Although, telling him not to follow his career is a bad move. If you truly love him, you'll support his decision to join the AF - promise to write, and help keep his morale up. This will mean more to him than anything else. Besides, knowing he has you at home keeping the candle burning will help him show his feelings for you. If it's meant to be, then it will happen for you.

Make your move . What are you waiting for ??? If he is getting a college degree then why is he going to the Air-farce.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.I truly respect any man or woman who wears or has worn the uniform.

tell him you are falling for him but don't ask him to stay. If he doesn't feel the same you should be able to keep your friendship if you put that first. And even if he likes you too, you shouldn't ask him to stay. What if he did and it didn't work out? And if it something he really wants to do and he stays he may resent you for asking.

If you love him, you should tell him. I wouldn't expect that to keep him from joining up with the service, but you never know, maybe he actually loves you too. You won't know at all if you never say anything. Far better you say something now before it's too late.

Let him go....You never ever tell a guy not to do something that he's planned for himself.
The first time something goes wrong in your relationship, he will be the first to remind you that if it wasnt for you making him stay he would have been....(fill in the blank)
Wait till he's done what he has to do....then tell him...if he's interested he will let you know.
