why would my ex boyfriend be talking to me after 3+ years?I broke up with HIM because i was immature and it was a stupid mistake..after that, we never really talked again for like 3 years and the relationship had NO CLOSURE whatsoever.. but now he is starting to talk to me a lot....which concerns me because He has had a girlfriend of 2 years. i can tell that maybe he is not happy with her...maybe he is just weighing his options before breaking up with her.. i dont know

He may not be getting along too well with his girlfriend. What would be better than to run to an ex girlfriend who may take him in. He is afraid to be alone. Probably has a fear of being alone. Mine did the same thing when he realized I was done with him....went running right back to his ex... He needs a mommy to keep him safe and warm. Safe from reality.....

its entirely possible that he just wants to be friends. the only way to figure out a guy's feelings is by sitting back and watching. guys generally dont go blabbing about their feelings like school girls and probably has no idea that any of this is going on in ur head. ur best bet is to wait around and see how he acts and try to figure out his intentions and if he sends mixed signals just ask.

yeah, there is a posibility that he's on the rocks on his relationship with his gf. not only men but some women would start seeking for attention from old flings whenever they are in bad roads just to prove to themselves that they can survive without the gf. but be careful, he might be just using you to get her jealous, she probably knows that you are an EX
