Use a springform pan. You could melt chocolate with some sweetened condensed milk, add some toasted nuts and that could be the bottom of the cake (or the top). Add the ice cream of your choice. As you layer the ice cream into the pan try a layering of the melted chocolate mix in and then another layer of ice cream. Or you could use strawberries and whip cream instead of chocolate, or what ever you like. The possibilities are endless. Top with a thick layer of whip cream if you like. Freeze overnight and remove the pan sides cut and serve.

Great Ice Cream Cake
This is easy and delicious!
get 2 1/2 gallons of you favor flavor ice creams
2 pkg of chocolate wafer cookies , crushed
(you can also use vanilla wafer cookies)
1/2 cup sugar
crushed nuts (any variety) also optional
1/2 butter melted
Jar of hot fudge
Jar of Carmel sauce
chocolate chips or other flavors(optional)
9" Spring form pan
Mix the crushed wafers & sugar with 1/2 of the butter to make a crust. If you need more butter add it. Spread 1/2 of this mixture in the bottom of the springform pan. Bake 10 min at 350 degrees. Then cool COMPLETELY. Once cooled, soften the ice cream and spread on flavor over the crust. Cover with wax paper and refreeze for 30-60 min. Then remove from freezer and spread hot fudge sauce and the rest of the crushed wafers/cookies or a handful of chocolate chips or crushed nuts. Then spread the other ice cream flavor on top of this layer and cover and refreeze 30 min. REmove on last time. Cover with carmel sauce and crushed nuts. Refreeze until ready to serve. Usea knife dipped in hot water to slice the frozen dessert. YUM. You can vary the toppings and flavors. Be creative. ENJOY!
