personal experience: I have a real crush on this nice lady but I can't make a move coz' the big "diamond" ring on her left ring finger bugs me a lot.... what should I do?

it usually means they are married. best to ask around first. i have one on my finger, but i'm not married. so it's not always true.

Only a diamond is an engagement ring (meaning serious commitment with another guy) Include a band and she is married. Just ask her is she is in a serious relationship and confront the ring issue. Express your feelings but, be careful that she does not tease or play you. Commitment women to another man love to entice another man. It gives the women a sense of control over you and don't stand for it, just walk away.

Most likely it means she is married, or at least engaged (if only one ring). However, some single women wear a ring on that finger to keep men away.

9 times out of 10 yes but some people just wear the ring to keep guys away maybe you should look else where

Ask her about the ring. Just a casual question like you're very curious. If she's engaged or married, then she can't be yours, but you can be friends.

I wear one, and I don't even have a bf.... a friend of mine uses a real engagement ring on that hand, and she doesn't have a bf either.... just try to catch other hints, or just be brave and ask

why dont you get it over with and ask her. some women love to show their stones even after the relationship has gone sour. some would even buy a ring just to pamper herself or to drive men away.
Just ask her and stop torturing yourself. and you might even get a hint if she likes you or not with just the way she answers your inquiry. you can even tease her about it and see how she would react but this will depend on how much you know each other.

Yes it does mean she is married. It doesn't mean that she is happily married though. Next time you see her start talking about some one in your family just got married and slyly ask her, "Oh, how long have you been married for?" then you will for sure if she actually married or not. Good luck!

ask her. i wear a ring of my left ring finger and i'm not married and if any guy really wants to know if i'm available he will ask.
