what type of harassment is done ? in person ? on the phone ? there is not such order like that in texas. are you asking about a no court ordered no contact order or a restraining order ??? there has to be an assault or or some type of harm done before one is issued. you would have to have a police report made out and get a court ordered one . if the harassment is done by some one living next door to you. you would have to put up no trespassing sings or painted tree w/ purple paint at least 3 foot off the ground and no higher then 5 foot. run barbed wire around there or have a fence up w/ signs posted. then a CTW (criminal trespass warning) can be issued.

There has to be a complaint on record with a law enforcement agency. Then, if you can substantiate that there is a genuine risk of ongoing harassment or threatening behavior to a judge's satisfaction, then the judge can issue a restraining order. If any of the elements of the harassment include threats toward yourself, or trespassing on private property, then the police can step in immediately and assist you. Get an attorney and they will be able to guide you through the process. Your local law enforcement agency can advise you on the steps to take also. Be prepared, you have to be able to prove a pattern of harassment and ongoing threat to get an order issued.

Well I have had to call the police several times for the neighbor caught on video trespassing and they keep saying because the police don't physically see them on the property then they can't charge the neighbor with criminal trespassing. I wonder what am I missing? Are you on someone else's property or not? Well tonight it happened again the neighbor had all his friends trample through my yard purposefully with disregard for my property. The police actually charged them with harassment. I can now take out a restraining order and no contact order.

If its social networking you have the option to block the contact and report them for harassing you on there. No legal action can be taken until you are physically being harassed in person
