It's a lot easier to pretend that the perfect mate or friend exists than it is to commit to a relationship and all of the work and give-and-take a relationship requires. It's an escape mechanism.

Maybe they don't want to get hurt when they get in a relationship, so they set a perfect partner to search.
But searching for a perfect partner won't hinder you to become broken hearted.

I don't look for perfection, because I'm not perfect, so how can I demand that? I just want someone who's honest and treats me right.

i dont know i guess it's a comfort knowing or wishing that there would be a guy who's a prefect lover and perfect man.

cause they want to get disapointed. they the ones that are the most miserable, so often. nobody is perfect ; find one that is perfect and you'll be bored later..
