Mrs. John Strong makes the most expensive stationery and papers favored by the very rich. She has a website.Crane makes nice stationery and papers that are much more affordable,but of excellent quality.

It seems as though they refer to themselves as simply "paper makers". I did a bit of research, because your question made me curious. I found this link for Crane's, a reputable maker of high-quality paper:
