You're thinking of the big picture like most people do. That label was put on there meaning do not put any part of this mattress in your mouth. Meaning, if it happens to be destroyed don't put the foam, springs, wood, cloth, or anything else used to compose it in your mouth.

There was once a spelling error on a knife set that said, "keep out of chidren" now I can add this to the list of stupid manufactuares, thanks. To answer your question by contents I think they mean the foam stuffing.
