I had a 98 and a 02 Taurus and would hesitate when I would accelerate hard(i.e. getting on the expressway) thought the engine was going to die a couple of times.

I tried putting Outlaw injector cleaner in it and it helped a little(what can I say, I'm a sucker for anything once" , ended up having my injectors cleaned ran pretty good after that but, ended up trading it in 1 month later wanted a 4x4, so don't know how it did in the long run.

Is the check engine lamp on? Could be a throttle positon sensor or a dirty mass air flow sensor, or an air leak. Need to have fuel psi tested and codes read.
