I'm not from California, but in my state you can go to the DMV and ask for an ID card. They take your picture and charge you about $5 - $10. It looks just like a driver's license but it says "Identification" at the top. It can be used as a legal form of identification. You might want to check into that.

WOW! That's one crazy way to start such a young marriage. I'm assuming that you live in California. If the warrants were out of AZ then why wasen't he put into and AZ jail? In any case, you should get a CA ID card just to have. Espically since you haven't changed your name or anything. It's just good to have one on hand.

First off... you don't need to be 18 to get a license. But without any government form of photo id (license, state id, passport) they probably won't let you in at all. Second of all... what are you doing marrying a convict at such a young age?? Not even 18?? Where do you get off thinking you're old enough to be married to begin with??

Call the county jail he is going to. They all have different policies and procedures. You may have enough to prove who you are.

The question should be: How do I divorce my loser husband? Get real! If you want to stay with someone like him, consider your life ruined and you are choosing it. Grow up.
