there is no age limit. if your kid is scared and wants to sleep in your bed some night...you let her. Its what a parent is for.

This crap about "what if this, and what if that"....
Its your kid!!!! She's scared of who knows what...thunder, a news story, a kid at school, a friend who just died, whatever. Let her sleep in your bed!!!

The world has gotten sorta nuts I think....can't let the kids sleep in the bed over 5....can't flunk a kid who does poorly in school....can't spank a kid who's been bad...

If one of the parents is a sicko pedophile...well, hopefully it would surface long before the kids are around!

whenever the adult gets uncomfortable with the feeling of having a child of the opposite sex in bed with them. To some adults that is a young age, to others that is an older age. Each person is different. For me it was around 12, but very sporadic.

if the adult is the child parents then I would say no older than 10 also. I mean if it is an off and on thing. Like the kid just wants to fall alseep in your room after watching a movie or has a nightmare. but if this is a permenant thing, then the age is more like 3.

I think a child should really not sleep with an adult. I know its very hard to enforce that. You wanna cuddle with the little rascals. I would have to say 3, maybe 4.

Why? Both my wife and I lie down with our kids until they are sleeping, they are 6 and 8 (2 girls). The kids love the close contact with their parents. Five? Unless you think there is a molester in the family, I would side with your mom.

Your child should always sleep in his/her own bed from birth. If you have your child lay with you in your bed for a short time or in the morning when you are waking up, it's ok....but the child should NEVER NEVER EVER sleep in the bed with you.

After they are potty trained I say, and who the heck wants to sleep with a kid that wets the bed anyway. I say 2 or 21/2 after that, they are not babies any more. That's when it gets abnormal to me.

I think children should be sleeping on their own my 3 months. Barring any medical issues, of course. Now, an every now and then cuddling is okay, but both need their own space.
