If there are so many of you, why don't you ask Yahoo to simply eliminate the religion and spirituality category? Why not ask them to only have the mythology category? Or to have separate categories for religion and for spirituality. I'm willing to cede some territory to you, just like the Israelis were willing to cede territory to the Palestinians. (Of course, you may know why the Palestinians rejected their offer.)

Why do you xtians have to hog the category of religion and spirtuality? Why do you get to claim the territory and make the decisions of who gets ceded? Who put you in charge?

I am an Athiest, and I enjoy the company of many who are not. Deciding that all Athiests can all be lumped into a christian-hating group shows the flaw in your question. I enjoy reading various christian's takes on moral and religious questions, and I feel no challenge to my beliefs when others make statements that disagree with my own. Why not simply pray that god smite us so that you will not be bothered by our ideas?

I don't want the section to be dumped. On the contrary, I want to keep it as a very interesting place where people from very different religions (and with no religion at all) can share their views. Now, why do you mind so much when non-believers express our disagreement?

BTW, I don't dislike Christians. I just don't agree with them.

Maybe there aren't as many Atheists on here as you think. I know of one person that is Catholic but asks a lot of Atheism questions. The reason he does that is to make each of us stop and really consider our beliefs.By actively thinking about how to answer one of his questions,we are actually thinking about our own religion .

Why are so many people trying so hard to make this portion of YA a "Christians vs Atheists" debate?
Christians: if you don't like atheists, don't talk to them. It's YA, for goodness sake, you don't HAVE to respond to them!
Atheists: if you don't like Christians, why not just leave them alone? The very worst thing they can do about it is to pray for you!

PLEASE, CHILDREN!! CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?????

I have no animosity against atheists they have their right to believe their
Religion as much as I have to practice my faith.I just pray that my Lord
will put a clapper in their bell so they can hear the Bell sound and let them know that God loves them and wants to make himself real to them
and save them.1Jo 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

I"m guessing there's not enough athiests who would work together for a common cause...athiesm simply glorifies the self and no good athiest would dream of helping another. ;)
