A dog loosing her hair is a sign of stress. In the dog (all breeds) lasts about 2 months: 60-64 days.
The canine reproductive life varies greatly from breed to breed with regard to onset of puberty, however. Small breed dogs typically start having estrus (heat) cycles earlier, at 4-6 months of age, and large breeds typically start later, at 12 to 24 months of age. The estrus cycles vary between each individual dog, average of 7 to 10 days. Some dogs as few as 2 days, some dogs cycle as long as 21 days. Dogs also go in heat twice a year. If you weren't expecting the puppies try putting them up for adoption. And get your female fixed...the real name for it is (ovariohysterectomy)

My dog is pregnant... We had many signs that it is true - first, big nipples, tired, sick... When she goes to the bathroom, some slimy stuff comes out too. I had a ultrasound done to find out how many pups since she was bred on purpose. They said she is due after 63 days. She has also gained weight - from 26 to 29 pounds after a month.

She also should have been in heat when she was with the male dog.

I hope this helps you. You probably want to get her spayed, but don't right after the puppies are born, if she has puppies. You'll want her body to get back to normal before putting her through more trauma.

Good luck!

Dogs are pregnant for about 62 to 63 days. A pregnancy test can be done at your vet after about 21 to 25 days, so she should be ready to test now. You should call your vet and set this up; it is usually only about $20-30. After about 45 days your vet can take an x-ray to see how many puppies she will have (if her pregnancy test is positive, of course).

After all is said and done, your dog should be spayed to prevent this from happening again. It is healthier for her (it eliminates her risk of cervical cancer), and it will stop her from adding to the overpopulation. She can be spayed about a month after she stops nursing her litter.

Well she is deinately lactating, or about to. So she is pregnant. It all depends on how far along she already is, Don't expect it to be too long. probably in the neigborhood of 2 months. give or take a few weeks.

It seems as though you should take your dog to a veterinarian to see if she is pregnant or ill. Get professional advice, not guesswork from Yahoo Answers.

Hope this helps.

She should have been spayed. It can still be done and the puppies aborted.
