The gay male population is not increasing. Only about 5% of males are gay. However it may seem to look like it is becoming more because people are coming out of the closet and not trying to hide it or live a lie like they have in past years.

The entire population is increasing and gay people are a percentage of that number (around 10%)

The population of gay men isn't rising, but the ability for them to come out as gay and not have to worry about life-threatening problems concerning coming out. They are finally able to be truthful and honest.

for me I just realized hiding from my true feelings about men and living a lie wasn't worth it and made me unhappy, believe me where I am from being gay isn't cool and isn't normal. maybe more men are realizing they would rather be gay and happy than straight and miserable. I think it's a good thing because some men hide it and get married have kids and than cheat on their wives with men.

the number of gay men/women are not increasing...its just becoming more accepted for them to come out of the closet, therefore you hear about them more.
1 in 10 people you know is gay...you just might not know!

the decline in spiritual principles, the decline of family values, we are being taught that what ever you feel is OK and God is what you make Him. Not so, we are a nation built on a Christ centered foundation by our for fathers and some are trying so hard to remove Him... just ranting ... public acceptance is the answer to your question

They probably think it's a good way to get girls until it's too late. But seriously alot of f'd up trends are popular now and also you can thank all the issues such as gay marriage and those stupid *** parades. it's a disease.

It's not. Now that homosexuality is becoming slightly more accepted, people who have always been gay are finally coming out to their friends and family.

While gays can't physically reproduce, they have a way of influencing more people to be gay. When a young person is sexually molested, he is much more likely to become gay. So they pass it on. NASTY
