Here's what the MSDS for acetic acid says what happens if you ingest it:
May cause severe and permanent damage to the digestive tract. Causes severe pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and shock. May cause polyuria, oliguria (excretion of a diminished amount of urine in relation to the fluid intake) and anuria (complete suppression of urination). Rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.
Now, keep in mind vinegar is a very dilute concentration of acetic acid - but you didn't say how much of it you were drinking.

vinegar is supposidly able to lower your cholesterol , and maybe help with weight : However it can be hard on the stomach and cause digestive problems. Try mixing it with apple juice or taking a vinegar pill

My older sister once gave me a big tablespoon of vinegar to help settle a sour stomach. It settled it...all over the carpet.
Yuck
